Foster Care and Foster-to-Adopt Donation Needs

As Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City Crittenton Children’s Center works to find stable, loving homes for children in need, we often have donation opportunities. Below you will find a list of year round needs, school year needs, and larger item needs. For more information on when to drop off donation or to confirm larger donations, please call 816-765-6600.

Year round needs

  • Places to cut/style/braid hair inexpensively or for free
  • Hair care products for all types of hair
  • Sports equipment (baseballs, basketballs, footballs, etc.)
  • Sunscreen
  • Bug spray
  • Formula
  • Burp rags
  • Cereal
  • Electronic games and consoles (family-friendly)
  • DVD players
  • Coloring books
  • Kitchenware (pots/pans, utensils, etc.)
  • Cleaning equipment (broom, mops, etc.)
  • Infant, toddler, and school-aged toys
  • Family-friendly games and board games
  • Newborn diapers and wipes
  • Children’s snacks (crackers, fruit snacks, applesauce packets, etc.)
  • Substantive non-perishables children’s foods (canned meals or packaged instant meals such as soup, macaroni and cheese, etc.)
