KSHB: Missouri Teacher's Recovery Called a Miracle After Scare Leads to Emergency Heart Transplant

A Missouri teacher is looking forward to returning to the classroom after an undetected heart issue led to an emergency heart transplant. 

Jennifer Gill's heart stopped as doctors were trying to help her. At one point, they were concerned she might not survive.

KSHB talked to Jennifer and Dr. Andrew Kao, medical director of heart transplantation at Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute, about why her story is being called a miracle.
