KSHB: Leawood cancer survivor makes care packages for other cancer patients

A Leawood cancer survivor was honored with the Susan G. Komen "Woman of Action" award earlier this year for her work helping ease the pain of other cancer patients.

Liz Benditt started making care packages for others after she had a reaction to radiation.

KSHB talked to Dr. Kenneth Macdonald, Director of Radiation Oncology at Saint Luke's Cancer Institute, about how Liz is not alone.
