Wright Memorial Hospital Foundation announces new Foundation Development Officer

Trenton, Mo. — May 7, 2018 - Wright Memorial Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of a new Foundation Development Officer. David Bain of Trenton assumed the position on April 30.

“As a lifelong resident of Trenton, I have special place in my heart for this community and the people here,” said Bain. “The Wright Memorial Hospital Foundation plays an important role in the health care environment in this region, and I’m excited to be a part of that. Wright Memorial Hospital and Saint Luke’s Health System are important to the vitality of this community. A strong hospital ensures a strong future for Trenton.”

Bain attended Trenton Junior College and Central Missouri State University. He was the general manager for Bond Wholesale in Trenton for 25 years. Most recently, Bain worked for Trenton Hy-Vee for 11 years, first as an assistant manager and then as the director of the Hy-Vee Wine & Spirits store.

“Dave is an excellent addition to the Foundation,” said Chad Boyd, Chairman of the Board for Wright Memorial Hospital Foundation. “I’ve known Dave for many years, as have several people in the community. The Foundation couldn’t be getting a better person, or representative. He’s already invested in the community, has deep roots here, and understands the importance of the hospital’s mission. He’s eager and excited to get to work, and we’re excited to see the contributions he’ll make.”

Bain currently serves on boards for the Trenton Downtown Improvement Association, and the Green Hills Women’s Shelter. He has one daughter, Alexandria. He enjoys golfing, and cheering on the Mizzou Tigers.
