KSHB: Emergency Room doctor stresses importance of firework safety ahead of Independence Day

As the country prepares for the Fourth of July holiday weekend, doctors and EMS crews are stressing the importance of firework safety. Each year, emergency departments see tens of thousands of people with firework-related injuries. 

KSHB talked to Dr. Marc Larsen, emergency medicine physician at Saint Luke's, about what many of these injuries have in common.
