Patients with Parkinson's disease are participating in a new, unique art therapy class held by Saint Luke's Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute

The class, which is supported by a grant from the Parkinson's Foundation, is the only one of its kind in the Kansas City area.

KMBC talked to Alison Bailey, Registered Art Therapist, about how art therapy has been shown to help patients in a variety of ways.

Registration is now open for next year's class, which will be held the first Thursday of every month from January-July 2021.
