KMBC: Federal Government No Longer Funding COVID Tests and Treatments

Starting Wednesday, the federal government will no longer pay for COVID tests or treatments for those who are uninsured.

This comes after Congress has not passed the plan from the White House to pay for ongoing COVID response.

KMBC talked to Tim Van Zandt, Vice President of Government and Community Relations at Saint Luke's Health System, about what impact the change could have moving forward amid the pandemic.
