Treatment for Breast Cancer has advanced dramatically in recent years as researchers and oncologists have made significant strides in understanding the disease and how to best treat it, including the awareness that not all breast cancers are the same and therefore require different approaches and medications.  This has improved outcomes and greatly increased life expectancy for patients.  

This week we are talking with Dr. Timothy Pluard, Medical Director of Saint Luke’s Cancer Institute and Medical Director of Saint Luke’s Koontz Center for Advanced Breast Cancer​​​​​​, about the latest new treatments for breast cancer and some exciting developments on the horizon including immunotherapy.
