Health News You Can Use: Breast Cancer Prevention & New Detection Technology

In 2022, it’s estimated that there will be over 287,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer diagnosed in women in the U.S., along with more than 51,000 new cases of non-invasive breast cancer – that’s according to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

This week, we’re talking with Dr. Ruby Meierotto, Breast Radiologist at Saint Luke’s Cancer Institute, about the importance of breast cancer prevention, as well as a new software at Saint Luke’s that is helping physicians diagnose breast cancer more quickly and effectively.
