FOX4: KC hospitals overwhelmed with COVID patients

As the number of coronavirus cases continue to rise across the Kansas City area, more and more patients are filling local hospital beds.

FOX4 talked to Dr. Marc Larsen, Director of Operations for Saint Luke's COVID Response Team and emergency physician, about how Saint Luke's is dealing with the high volume of patients.

"Our goal is to take care of every single patient that rolls through that door," Dr. Larsen said. "We have a mission that we are there to treat our community, treat our patients, and we do to keep our patients and ambulances coming to our facilities."
