Collection Procedure:
For trough specimens, collect immediately prior to the next dose.
Specimen Processing:
1. The serum must be separated from the cells within 45 minutes of collection and transferred to a plastic transport tube.
2. The plasma must be separated from whole blood immediately and transferred to a plastic transport tube.

Unacceptable Condition:
1. Gel tubes are not allowed.
