Collection Procedure:
1. Two separate specimens are required for this test. The first trimester specimen must be drawn between 10 weeks, 3 days and 13 weeks, 6 days. The second trimester specimen must be drawn between 15 weeks, 0 days and 21 weeks, 6 days.
2. The gestational age for the first trimester specimen and second trimester specimen is required on the request form for processing.
3. Label the specimen appropriately (first trimester or second trimester).
