Separate the plasma from the cells. Transfer the plasma to a plastic transport tube with screw cap and freeze.

Frozen - 1 year (if frozen within 24 hours of collection)
Refrigerated - 8 days

Unacceptable Condition:

Samples that are are hemolyzed, have gross lipemia that cannot be cleared by ultracentrifugation, or are microbially contaminated will be rejected.
