Agar slant in screw cap container packed as an etiologic agent or a bacterial swab transport inoculated with the isolate from a pure culture.
Specimen Type:
Pure culture of aerobic bacteria, facultatively anaerobic bacteria or a strict anaerobic bacteria.
Preferred Volume:
Viable colonies macroscopically visible
Store and Transport:
Room temperature
Unacceptable Condition:
Mixed cultures or broken tubes will be rejected.
