Your First Consultation

During your first consultation, you will meet with a full team of metastatic breast cancer experts. At the end of the day, you will receive your customized treatment plan, which will incorporate the recommendations of the entire care team.

We understand that sometimes medical information can be overwhelming, so we encourage you to bring a loved one with you to your consultation. If you’d also like to include a family member who lives out of town, we’ll even set up a live feed so they can participate in real time remotely. We believe it’s essential that you and your family have the opportunity to ask questions and understand your recommended treatment plan. You will also receive a video recording of the consultation that you can review later and share with family.

If you are unable to travel to Kansas City for your initial consultation, an online telehealth option is available.

Preparing For Your Appointment

To allow our team of specialists to prepare for your initial visit, our clinical staff will work with you to obtain the following information:

• All previous treatment and pathology reports
• All recent imaging results, including CT, MRI, or bone scans
• Other medical records as needed
