KSHB: Health officials describe each COVID-19 variant as its own pandemic

As all Kansas and Missouri residents are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, doctors recommend people do so quickly as variants are being detected.

KSHB talked to Dr. Sarah Boyd, infectious disease physician on Saint Luke's COVID-19 Response Team, about the effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccine against variant strains.
