When Jesus Renteria suffered a stroke after serving the lunch rush from his taco truck, every minute mattered. Upon arrival at Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City, Jesus was immediately assessed and diagnosed by the Saint Luke’s Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute stroke team. We helped Jesus return home after a week-long stay in the neurosurgical intensive care unit. Since then, he’s been back serving the lunch rush and even expanded his business.
