About Aukeysia Tate, LCSW
Aukeysia Tate is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in various capacities both nationally and internationally.
She relocated to Kansas City from Honolulu, Hawai'i, in 2021. In Hawai'i, she served as a Medical Evaluation Board Behavioral Health Examiner for the Department of the Army, primarily assessing active-duty soldiers' military readiness. In July 2021, Aukeysia was awarded the Department of the Army's Civilian Service Commendation Medal for her service in that role. She was the only master's-level MEB Behavioral Health Examiner in the Pacific Region, as this role was typically occupied by psychologists and psychiatrists.
Aukeysia joins the Saint Luke's team with experience as an Air Force Officer, a middle and high school educator, a child/adolescent/adult therapist, and a social worker in community-based and medical settings.
Aukeysia values spiritual, mental, and emotional health. She enjoys participating in church-related activities, spending time with her family and friends, and engaging in the arts. Aukeysia approaches care with compassion and encouragement.
