A Kansas City Chiefs fan gets a second shot at life and he’s making the most of it.

The 65-year-old Kansas City man will celebrate his first anniversary with his new heart after getting a life-saving transplant at Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute—watching his Chiefs play in person in Super Bowl LVIII.

FOX4 talked to Ted Perez and his heart transplant surgeon, Dr. Russ Davis, about the lifelong Chiefs fan's incredible story.
