Saint Luke’s Health System is proud to announce that Melinda L. Estes, MD, President and CEO of Saint Luke’s Health System, was named to Modern Healthcare’s prestigious list of ‘100 Most Influential People in Healthcare’ for 2020.

Modern Healthcare and its readers selected the honorees for this significant recognition based on the innovation and resilience they have demonstrated through the historic events of the past year.

According to Modern Healthcare:

“The 2020 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare found ways to help their colleagues and organizations through unprecedented hardships. The result was often groundbreaking. Modern Healthcare and our readers selected the most innovative and resilient candidates who influenced the course that healthcare took during a global crisis and used current events as an inspiration to do better.”

Dr. Estes received the No. 13 ranking on this list of distinguished honorees, which includes dozens of noteworthy names, such as Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (No. 9).

Earlier this year, Dr. Estes was named one of Modern Healthcare’s 2020 “50 Most Influential Clinical Executives,” honoring clinical executives working in the industry who are recognized by their peers and industry experts for their leadership and impact.

Dr. Estes’s influence this year has extended beyond Saint Luke’s Health System to the national stage through her role as the Chair of the Board of Trustees of the American Hospital Association.

Saint Luke’s is proud of the leadership, influence, and impact Dr. Estes has on the industry always, and especially throughout this year of crisis and change.

Congratulations to Dr. Estes on this recognition.
