Salons in Kansas are getting used to the new normal after reopening Monday following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Some businesses are taking extra precautions, such as wearing face masks, face shields, and gloves to keep their employees and clients safe.

KSHB talked to Dr. Sarah Boyd, Director of Infectious Evidence-Based Practice at Saint Luke's, about what people should keep in mind as salons and other businesses start to reopen.
