KMBC: Local Hospitals React to Rise in COVID Cases

Kansas City area hospitals are starting to feel the effects of a jump in COVID numbers. The number of patients admitted with COVID across Saint Luke's Health System has doubled within the past two weeks.

KMBC talked to Dr. Sarah Boyd, infectious disease physician on Saint Luke's COVID-19 Response Team, about the increase and when doctors are seeing severe cases.
