FOX 4: What To Know About Whooping Cough Amid Rise in Cases
The bacterial respiratory illness is especially dangerous for children under one year old.
1 minuteSince 2024, the CDC has reported an increase in cases of whooping cough, or pertussis. The trend has continued this fall, with Kansas City reporting 75 pertussis cases in October, tripling from last year.
