KMBC: Doctor and Survivor Remind Public of Warning Signs During National Stroke Awareness Month

During Stroke Awareness Month, doctors want people to know that a stroke can happen at any age.

Thom Ludtke is a living example. At just 52 years old, he suffered a stroke while coaching volleyball practice with his daughter.

KMBC talked to Thom and Dr. Karin Olds, neurologist and stroke medical director at Saint Luke's Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute, about the importance of knowing the warning signs and seeking care quickly.
