KCTV: Saint Luke's offers low dose lung cancer screenings

Since the start of the pandemic, Saint Luke's has seen more late-stage cancers in patients. Preventive cancer screenings are a key step in finding cancers early, starting treatment, and better outcomes. Lung cancer is the number one cause of cancer-related death in the United States. 

Dr. Matthew Aboudara, Interventional Pulmonologist at Saint Luke's Cancer Institute, talks to KCTV about Saint Luke's lung screening task force, why early lung cancer detection is so important, signs and symptoms of lung cancer, and the new low dose CT lung cancer screening Saint Luke's offers.
