KCTV: Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month: You don't have to suffer in silence, local mother says

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.

An estimated one in four women suffer a miscarriage, and according to the CDC, about one in 100 pregnancies 20 weeks or later end in stillbirth.

KCTV talked to Brea Bradley, Saint Luke's Hospital Infant Loss and Grief Support Coordinator, and one Kansas City mother who started a support group to let bereaved mothers know they do not have to suffer in silence after experiencing heartbreaking loss herself.
