Missouri hospitals are calling for action after the state's COVID disaster declaration expired at the start of the New Year. This comes as Gov. Laura Kelly recently declared a 15-day disaster declaration to help hospitals in Kansas.

KCTV talked to Dr. Gina Lawson, Chief Medical Officer of Saint Luke's Physician Group, about how the order's expiration impacts hospitals across Missouri as they work to battle staffing shortages and the omicron variant surge.
