CHILLICOTHE, Mo.  — The Hedrick Medical Center Auxiliary has awarded ten $500 scholarships to the following students pursuing degrees in the health care field:

Emma Burk, Connor Cotton, Gracie Ellis, Mollie Ellis, Karlin Fairchild, Claire Hemry, Elizabeth Leach, Kyle Ohrenberg, McKenna Poling, and Claire Chapman Wright

The Hedrick Medical Center Auxiliary Scholarship Fund was established in 1998 to encourage qualified individuals to pursue or enrich a career in the health care field. These scholarships are awarded annually; to date, 217 recipients have benefited from the fund for a total of $107,500.

2022 HMC Auxiliary Scholarship recipients also received additional funds through the generosity of the HMC Medical Staff Harkness Library Fund, totaling $700 for each recipient.
