Children are suffering from a hidden epidemic of child abuse and neglect. According to the National Children’s Alliance, nearly 700,000 children are abused in the U.S. each year, and, a report of child abuse is made every ten seconds.

This week, we’re talking to Tanisha Leal, the Foster Care Manager at Saint Luke’s Crittenton Children’s Center, about child abuse and neglect, what parents and loved ones can do to help prevent child abuse, and how Crittenton Children’s Center Foster Care Program helps families heal.
