FOX4: Saint Luke's announces its Food As Medicine Everyday program

Saint Luke’s Muriel I. Kauffman Women’s Heart Center is a founding member of the Food as Medicine Institute Alliance.

The Food as Medicine Institute provides nutrition education for individuals, families, and communities to help nourish healthy relationships with whole foods and to enhance healthcare professionals’ understanding of food as medicine.

This means that the food you eat can also help you feel better. Dr. Tracy Stevens from Saint Luke's Women Heart Center and Dr. Courtney Jackson from Food as Medicine Institute joined FOX4 to show how food can be used as medicine and to talk about why this alliance is so important and what it can bring to the community.
