Becker's Hospital Review: What Raises the Bar for Six Hospital Pharmacies

The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists recently named six hospitals as centers of excellence for their medication use safety and pharmacy practice, including Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City. 

Becker's Hospital Review spoke with Greg Teale, Vice President of Pharmacy Services at Saint Luke's Health System, about the key to earning the three-year accreditation.

"Our pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, residents and students are the foundation of our program," Teale said. "We work hard developing and maintaining a culture of quality and safety by collaborating with members of the health care team."
