About Wesley Frevert, MD
Wesley Frevert, MD, FAAOS, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a Sports Medicine fellowship. Dr. Frevert grew up in Lee's Summit, Missouri, and returned in 2016 to practice at Rockhill Orthopaedic Specialists. He has an emphasis in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery but also incorporates aspects of general orthopedic surgery, including joint replacement and fracture care, into his practice.
Dr. Frevert received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Truman State University. After obtaining his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine, he completed residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Florida Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He completed his Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic Surgery Fellowship at Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center.
Dr. Frevert actively supports the local community by providing team physician coverage at area high schools during the fall sports season. He has authored scientific research articles and has presented his research at both regional and national academic conferences.
In his spare time, Dr. Frevert enjoys spending time with his wife and children, usually at their athletic events or outdoors.
