About Karen Lynn, RN, FNP-BC
Karen graduated from Research School of Nursing in 1982 and practiced as an emergency department nurse for 18 years. She graduated from UMKC in 1999 with a Master's in Nursing and practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner providing primary care for 15 years in Parkville, MO. She has additional experience in urgent care and palliative care.
Her practice philosophy is that she believes in a holistic approach to health care that encompasses the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the individual and their family. When not working, she enjoys playing golf, cycling, and spending time with her family.

The BJC Medical Group (BJCMG) partners with an independent survey company, Professional Research Consultants (PRC), to gather feedback directly from patients about their experiences. PRC sends electronic surveys to BJCMG patients following a medical visit, asking them to evaluate different aspects of their care. Once a provider receives at least 30 reviews, responses are calculated by our survey vendor and posted to the provider's profile using a five-star rating system.
