Saint Luke's East Hospital is kicking off a $52 million expansion project and renovation of some of its facilities.

The Lee's Summit hospital will hold a groundbreaking on Wednesday.

The expansion will include a 62,000-square-foot addition to the hospital, and it will renovate 52,000 square feet of the existing hospital.
