This week, hospitals in the Kansas City metro are starting to administer the COVID-19 booster shot to health care workers.

KSHB talked to Dr. Sarah Boyd, an infectious disease physician on Saint Luke's COVID-19 Response Team, about why it is important people do not skip the second dose.
