KCTV: Local OB-GYN, pregnant women react to CDC urging expectant mothers to get vaccinated

The CDC is urging all pregnant women to get the COVID-19 vaccine as many hospitals in hot spots around the U.S. see disturbing numbers of unvaccinated mothers-to-be hospitalized with the virus.

Kansas City is one of the areas seeing the trend.

KCTV talked to Angela Pepper, an expecting mother who got the vaccine, and Dr. Kristen Wootton, OBGYN and Medical Director of the Women's & Children's Division at Saint Luke's, about the recommendation.
