KCTV: COVID long-hauler credits Saint Luke's with saving his life, warns others of severity of symptoms

Doug Hemke is a local COVID long-hauler. He credits the rehab team and doctors at Saint Luke's Rehabilitation Institute and Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City for keeping his faith in recovery strong, even when his body was not.

KCTV talked to Hemke and Dr. Brad Steinle, Medical Director of Saint Luke's Rehabilitation Institute, about the long-term effects of the virus and how rehabilitation plays an important role in recovery.
