About Kerry Mian, MD
Kerry Mian, MD, is a board-certified non-operative spine and musculoskeletal physician with Saint Luke’s Neurological and Spine Surgery. Dr. Mian has specialized training in interventional pain management and physical medicine and rehabilitation. Dr. Mian is a proud U.S. Army veteran and values his military discipline with respect to his academic excellence and clinical expertise.
Dr. Mian's practice philosophy is to treat pain to restore life. He believes that effective pain management is not an end in itself but a pathway to improved function, independence, and quality of life for each patient. He takes a patient-centered, evidence-based approach and is actively involved in research advancing the field. Whether caring for veterans, athletes, or anyone living with spine or musculoskeletal pain, Dr. Mian is committed to helping his patients get back to doing what matters most to them.
Dr. Mian grew up in Reno, Nevada, where early volunteer work at the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System first ignited his passion for veteran care. He went on to graduate from the United States Military Academy at West Point before dedicating his career to medicine and service. When not caring for patients, he is a devoted family man who enjoys spending time with his children, smoking meat, and tending to his garden.
