About Christopher Fox, MD
Board-certified primary care and sports medicine physician, Christopher Fox, MD, believes the best care is personalized to meet the needs of each patient. He enjoys combining evidence-based medicine with the art of listening to his patients with an open mind.
Dr. Fox became a physician to help make a difference in other people's lives. He grew up around exercise medicine and sports. Primary care and sports medicine perfectly combine his interests. He is currently involved in research surrounding concussions and their prevention.
During his fellowship training, Dr. Fox was a team physician for UCLA. He worked with the UCLA football team when they lost to his alma mater, Kansas State University, at the Cactus Bowl. He was also a physician for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Dr. Fox grew up in Topeka, Kansas, and now lives in Lee's Summit, Missouri, with his wife and two kids. They have a Boston terrier named Billy and a cat named Winnie.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Fox travels with his family, often visiting his wife's family in Brazil. He enjoys attending sporting events, golfing, fishing, hiking, and the great outdoors.
