About Alexis Vollmar, MD
Alexis Vollmar, MD, is an OBGYN whose goal is to help patients understand their women's health concerns with transparency and honesty, all while providing the best possible medical care. She takes pride in forming meaningful relationships with her patients, always aiming to provide compassionate support throughout a woman's entire health journey. She places a high value on evidence-based practice, while always being willing to listen to a patient's questions and concerns with patience and an open mind.
Dr. Vollmar's clinical interests include preconception counseling, contraception, vulvar disorders, evidence-based practice, high-risk obstetrics, and minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Vollmar grew up in Saint Louis, Missouri, before eventually moving to Kansas City, where she has lived for more than a decade. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the ever-growing Kansas City area with her dog and her family. She is an avid fan of live music and always enjoys trying new restaurants.
