Saint Luke’s Comprehensive Angina Relief (CARe) program supports patients with chronic chest pain, known as refractory angina. Refractory angina is chest pain that does not respond to medications and other traditional treatments.

Causes of refractory angina
- Obstructive coronary artery disease
- Nonobstructive coronary arteries (ANOCA)
- Myocardial infarction with nonobstructive coronary arteries (MINOCA)
