Saint Luke’s is a member of Missouri Health Connection (MHC) which is the state-wide Health Information Exchange. Saint Luke’s is participating with MHC to provide a HIPAA compliant, secure and encrypted email platform called MHC CareMail or more commonly known as Direct.

The Hematology/Oncology rotation is a four-week experiential rotation for pharmacy students. The area of practice is primarily in the oncology infusion centers across the health system.

Advanced pharmacy practice experiences (APPE) at Saint Luke's are scheduled in two or three month blocks. The block contains multiple rotations so that a student generally spends a month on one practice site before switching to a new practice site for the next month.

Fellows at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine and Saint Luke’s are mentored by national and international leaders in the cardiology field. Our primary training site is Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute, located at Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City near the Country Club Plaza.

The Ambulatory Care rotation involves the provision of pharmaceutical care for those patients in a primary care setting at Saint Luke's Health System.
