The popular weight loss drug Wegovy seems to provide more health benefits for people who have diabetes and a common kind of heart failure than just helping take off the pounds, according to the results from the STEP HFpEF DM trial.

The diabetes and weight loss drug semaglutide significantly reduced symptoms and improved quality of life in people with obesity and the most common form of heart failure in a clinical trial.

The Community Critical Care rotation will provide students exposure and opportunity to participate in the essential roles of the pharmacist in the Community Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit.

To help Saint Luke’s Health System improve health through outreach, prevention, education, and wellness efforts, we conduct Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNA) for each of our hospitals. Strategies for meeting the identified needs of our communities are outlined in Community Benefit Implementation Plans, which include goals and objectives for implementing community benefits.

A Saint Luke's PT's passion has brought her to Peru, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic to help distribute wheelchairs and other mobility devices.
