The University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC) School of Medicine opened in 1971 as the result of more than a decade of community efforts to establish a medical school in Kansas City, Missouri.

When she needed a heart transplant, she choose Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute. A year later, Jenna’s feeling healthy and strong and advocating for improvements to medical devices for women.
