Julie Quirin, president of Saint Luke’s, BJC Health System’s West Region, has been named one of 50 Missourians You Should Know by Ingram’s. Published since 2011, the annual list highlights high-achieving Missouri business and civic leaders. As a member of the 15th class, Julie joins the ranks of 750 extraordinary business leaders who have helped make Missouri a place where businesses, careers, and families can grow.
Julie was recognized for her exceptional leadership during the integration of Saint Luke’s and BJC HealthCare in 2024, as well as her efforts to improve efficiency, expand patient access across the region, broaden research and innovation capabilities, and facilitate growth. Under Julie’s leadership, Saint Luke’s has undergone several major construction and renovation projects, including the expansion of medical oncology services at Saint Luke’s North Hospital, renovation of the Medical Office Building II space on the Saint Luke’s East Hospital campus in Lee’s Summit, representing a 62,000-square-foot addition to the campus—including new on-campus clinics for ear, nose, and throat and women's health and updated spaces for Rockhill Orthopaedic Specialists, general surgery, plastic surgery, pulmonology, and more—and the addition of Memory Care at Saint Luke’s Bishop Spencer Place, among others.
“It’s an honor to be recognized with so many other great leaders, and I am deeply proud of the role Saint Luke’s and BJC have in making Missouri a wonderful place to call home,” said Julie. “The people we care for are more than patients—they are our families, our friends, and our neighbors, and we are committed to helping create the healthiest community possible for them and our team members.”
