KMBC: National Friendship Day: Meet Two Friends Who Have Been Friends For 95 Years
Carol, 96 years old, and Jean, 95 years old, became friends nearly 95 years ago when Carol’s parents invited their neighbors, Jean and her parents, to Carol’s second birthday party.
Now, Jean and Carol are neighbors once again, living in the same hall at Saint Luke’s Bishop Spencer Place.
Throughout their lives, Carol and Jean stayed close, attending summer camp every year together, then college, and eventually each other's weddings. This National Friendship Day, they're sharing their story with KMBC.
