KCTV: Young Mother in Need of Match for Kidney Transplant

Nationwide, more than 100,000 people are waiting for a life-saving organ transplant.

Jackie Burasco, a local young mother, is one of those people waiting to find a match after discovering she had stage 4 chronic kidney disease while she was pregnant.

KCTV talked to Jackie and Dr. Matthew Wilkinson, a transplant surgeon at Saint Luke's Health System, about the need for a donor.
