Darren Bass named to Kansas City Business Journal’s ’20 to Know’ in health care
1 minuteThe Kansas City Business Journal named Darren Bass, DPT, FACHE, president of Saint Luke’s North and Critical Access Region, as one of its 20 health care professionals to know in the Kansas City area in 2025.
Bass is president of Saint Luke’s North Hospital’s two campuses, located in Kansas City and Smithville, Missouri. He also provides leadership and oversight for Saint Luke’s North and Critical Access Region, including Allen County Regional Hospital in Iola, Kansas; Anderson County Hospital in Garnett, Kansas; Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, Missouri; and Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton, Missouri.
Bass was recognized for his agile and effective leadership through the integration of Saint Luke’s into BJC Health System, and the expansion of Saint Luke’s Cancer Institute at Saint Luke’s North Hospital. As a doctor of physical therapy, Bass combines clinical expertise with business and leadership experience to make strategic decisions that have a positive impact on patient care today and into the future.
