May is Stroke Awareness Month, and this year, Don Cady, 62, and his support team are celebrating a breakthrough in his recovery achieved through a new treatment offered at Saint Luke's.

After a stroke nearly two decades ago left Don with limited mobility in his right-side body, a new FDA approved implant has him writing, shuffling cards, and performing other tasks that used to be impossible for him.

FOX 4 talked with Don and Dr. Karin Olds, Neurologist & Stroke Medical Director at Saint Luke’s Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute, about the new treatment and the impact it is having on stroke survivors.
