Journey of Courage and Hope Retreat

A Healing Retreat for Metastatic Breast Cancer Patients

Living with metastatic breast cancer can be challenging for both the patient and their support person. The Journey of Courage and Hope Retreat, presented by Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City’s Koontz Center for Advanced Breast Cancer, is a chance for women and men with metastatic breast cancer to get away and experience healing and renewal.

This complimentary retreat is limited to 10 patients, plus a support person, and includes all lodging, meals and events. The program has been made possible through a generous donation provided by the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.

To register for an upcoming event, contact Janie Metsker at 816-932-9644 or jmetsker@saintlukeskc.org. A medical oncology referral is recommended and a screening evaluation may be required.
